Tasty duck eaten

Ordered a duck the day before and picked it up today. Everything went perfectly and the duck was awesome ♡ can only be recommended, we were thrilled.

September 6th, 2020 Everything was actually fine. The sun was shining and we had a nice place in the beer garden. Drinks arrived quickly and the service was attentive. Then came the food. As a precaution, I had ordered schnitzel as a precaution. That was fine. But then I had doubts because Stefanie's Pulled Pork Burger was a grenade. I would have loved to swap! Swiss sausage salad and the large Rieser farmer's platter should not go unmentioned. Especially with the latter, we got enough bread. Conclusion: next time I'll order the same as Stefanie. So we were very excited! Whether spare ribs, burgers, pulled pork or the grilled pork chop. Every meal was outstanding !! In addition still unbelievably nice waitresses and Augustiner on the barrel ....! Also a great, cozy atmosphere! We will definitely come back !! Keep it up!

For me, the "Old Wagnerei" is the nicest little beer garden in Northern Swabia. The wonderful combination of cosiness (in the middle of the city center, with a direct view of the stork's nest at the city hall of Deiningen), lovable landlords (Eva and Anthony Bowman, who brings a global flair to the beer garden as an Australian), excellent food (steaks come directly from the local supplier, the cheese fresh from the Allgäu, etc ..), makes the Old Wagnerei for me the ideal "travel destination" for my Sunday bike trips, .... and more. I highly recommend this gem of Ries crater to anyone.

Good food, good beer, good mood. It's always worth a visit.
